A Mayan prayer begins asking for the permission, care and blessing of the four cardinal points. The couple introduces herself and shares the sacred drink in order to strengthen the soul. The couple is blessed with the smoke of the “copal” and the bracelets are given, which are a representation of the rings and the love that holds them together.
